The CIP4 organization is proud to introduce our latest Interoperability Conformance Specification [ICS] relating to automation and integration in commercial print enterprises. This ICS focuses upon the relationship and communication between real-time quality control measurement/monitoring in a PSP, an administrative MIS system for the a JDF job, and the Customer.
JDF we developed as an interface between a disparaging assemblage of software and hardware solutions in a standardized manner. Until JDF, most MIS integrations required custom interfaces and conversion tools. JDF simplifies that integration, and brings numerous benefits from an automation perspective.
