Thank you for showing interest in CIP4 membership. The goal of CIP4 is to encourage the computer based integration of all processes that have to be considered in enterprises of the graphic arts industry. The specification of standards like the Job Definition Format (JDF) seems to be appropriate to reach this goal. The vision behind the CIP4 initiative is to apply the concepts of "Computer Integrated Manufacturing" to the production of print and other media.
If you wish to become a CIP4 member, please first answer a few simple questions. This will lead you to the CIP4 Membership Application Form.
CIP4 offers three different classes of membership:
Furthermore, each partner participating must bear his own internal costs, e.g. for personnel, travel, development, implementation costs and other expenses. He is free to terminate his participation in CIP4, but without the right to claim reimbursement of the "membership fee" or any other costs.
